Prompt Engineer, Claude, LLM £690 per day Outside IR35 Fully Remote Contract We''re looking for an experienced Prompt Engineer to support a major AI-enabled transformation programme. Working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, you''ll be responsible for translating requirements into high-quality prompts, instructions and AI workflows, ensuring AI outputs are accurate, consistent and aligned to business needs. Key Responsibilities: Gather and analyse business requirements from key stakeholders. Translate business processes into effective prompts, instructions and AI workflows. Design, optimise and refine prompts to improve output quality and consistency. Test and evaluate AI responses, identifying opportunities for improvement. Apply best practice around LLM behaviour, guardrails and hallucination management. Collaborate with business and technical teams throughout delivery. Required Experience: Strong experience with Claude and Claude Code. Proven background in prompt engineering, prompt design and optimisation. Excellent requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to translate business needs into effective AI solutions. Strong understanding of LLM behaviour, guardrails and output quality management. Experience testing and refining prompts to improve accuracy and reliability.
