Project/Service Delivery Manager

Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Project/Service Delivery Manager for our client a government organisation in Honiton, East DevonThe successful post holder will manage the Programme and Strategies team, to lead on the project management of key corporate projects, the development and embedding of a programme/project management framework and structure that ensures sufficient oversight of corporate projects, the transformation journey including Local Government Reorganisation and leading on corporate risk, climate change and economic development.This role is a temporary contract initially for 6 months with the possibility to extend. This role is hybrid working with 2 days minimum required in the office per week.Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:Development, implementation and monitoring of a programme/project management framework across the organistion.Provision of strategic project management and risk advice and expertise to assist councillors (including the Chair, Leader, and Cabinet), the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and individual services.Provide effective oversight of key projects and programmes, ensuring alignment between the Plan, Directorate Plans and service delivery and that key strategies are implemented.Strategic co-ordination and delivery of economic development , including employment growth, inward investment and the deployment of funding streams in line with the Council''s Economic Development ..... full job details .....
