Project Worker Jordan House Southampton Part-Time, Permanent 30 Hours per week Salary Scale: 21-22 (£21,328 - £21,880 per annum, based on 30 hours per week) Vacancy Details Jordan House Life skills Hostel within the homeless pathway has a permanent vacancy for an experienced Project Worker to work in a busy but rewarding environment in Southampton. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate would have experience of working with vulnerable people or in a residential setting, working as part of the team, you will manage a case-load of clients and be committed to providing a good quality day-to-day service with a focus on promoting harm minimisation, basic life skills and emotional support. You will have the ability to build positive working relationships and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external contacts and clients. You will be experienced in support planning, risk assessments and safeguarding vulnerable clients. We are looking for someone who can work flexibly to meet the needs of clients, a sense of humour and empathy for the client group is essential. The ideal candidate has knowledge of local services and holds a valid UK driving licence but not essential.
