Sanctuary Supported Living is recruiting for a Project Worker at Homelessness Service, Sach Road, London. The role offers £14.67 per hour. Providing support to encourage customers who have faced homelessness to maximise their own potential and independenceAssessing customers’ needs by writing and updating support plansBeing a first point of call to receive and direct all customer queriesDeveloping relationships with customers while ensuring personal choice, privacy and dignityLiaising with external support links to improve customers’ confidence, health and wellbeing and to offer training and encouragement towards employment and educationHandling occasional emergency situationsKeeping accurate and high-quality written recordsSkills and experience

Experience of working with adults who have experienced homelessnessEnthusiastic, flexible with a strong “can-do” attitudeAbility to work as part of a team and on own initiativeStrong organisational skills and functional literacy and numeracyAbility to react quickly to changing priorities while working to deadlines and targetsNVQ3 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards itBenefits
