Project Worker

Full Time | Shift-Based Role

We are looking for a compassionate and proactive Project Worker to support vulnerable individuals within a supported housing environment. You will play a key role in helping clients achieve their goals, maintain their tenancy, access relevant services, and move towards greater independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred support, advice and guidance to clients with a range of support needs.
  • Complete assessments, support plans, risk assessments and case reviews.
  • Build positive relationships with clients, encouraging engagement and personal development.
  • Liaise with statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure clients access appropriate services.
  • Support clients with benefits, housing applications, appointments and move-on plans.
  • Respond to incidents, manage challenging situations and provide crisis intervention where required.
  • Assist with the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks in line with policies and procedures.
  • Conduct health & safety checks, property inspections and report maintenance issues.

About You

  • Experience supporting vulnerable individuals or those with complex needs.
  • Understanding of homelessness, housing support, mental health or related social issues.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally.
  • Good IT and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Committed to equality, diversity, inclusion and maintaining professional boundaries.
