Project Surveyor

Purpose of the Role:MMP Consultancy are looking for a Project Surveyor who will deliver a technically proficient capital investment service for the Council''s housing stock of approximately 8,250 properties. This role plays a vital part in developing and managing the Housing Revenue Account (HRA) Capital Programme, overseeing major investment projects, and maintaining accurate stock condition and energy profiles. This role is on a 6 month basis paying 260 per day inside IR35.Key Responsibilities:Programme Development and ManagementIdentify and scope capital and maintenance projectsPrepare cost estimates and monitor budgets and timelinesConduct stock condition and energy surveysProvide regular performance and expenditure updatesProject ManagementAct as Project Manager, Contract Administrator, and Clerk of WorksLead feasibility studies, design, procurement, and contractor managementOversee statutory approvals, tenant liaison, and project handoverEnsure compliance with CDM regulations and leasehold consultation proceduresInvestigate building defects and recommend solutionsTechnical and Compliance DutiesSupport new housing developments as Clerk of WorksEnsure adherence to statutory, financial, and contractual regulationsPrepare planning and building regulation applicationsCollate and report performance indicatorsGeneral Responsibilities:Promote equality, safeguarding, and health and safety standardsSupport the Council''s Corporate Parenting commitmentUndertake additional duties ..... full job details .....
