The OpportunityWe are seeking a

Project Support Officer

to join our growing Defence sector team. Working on-site with our Defence clients, you will play a key role in enabling the successful delivery of large-scale, complex programmes that support the UK’s national security and defence capability.

Key Responsibilities

Provide project coordination and administrative support to project and programme managers.

Maintain and update project documentation, schedules, risk logs, and reporting dashboards.

Support governance activities, including preparation for project boards and stakeholder meetings.

Track progress against plans, highlighting risks, issues, and dependencies.

Ensure compliance with client and internal project management frameworks.

Liaise with stakeholders across engineering, commercial, and delivery functions.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery practices.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Previous experience in a project support / project coordination role (Defence, Aerospace, or similar highly regulated environment desirable).

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Confidence in using MS Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or equivalent).

A proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC) – essential for this role.
