Project Site Manager

Are you a dedicated and experienced Site Manager with a background in Manufacturing or engineering? We are seeking a highly competent and motivated Project Site Manager to join the DS Smith team for a 12-month contract. You will be instrumental in ensuring the successful and compliant delivery of a major Construction (Design and Management) (CDM) project on site, providing essential contractor support and expertise throughout the project lifecycle. Role: Project Site Manager Location: DS Smith Packaging, Mill Road, Devizes, Wiltshire, SN10 3EW Hours: Flexibility is needed as you will be working any 5 days out of 7 from 7.30am - 6pm Salary: 550 - 680 per day This is a hands on contractor management role to support the leadership team during the delivery of a specific project and the ideal candidate will be someone who has previous experience as a project site manager, managing the installation, removal and upgrade of manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities: Permit Management: Issue and closure of permits to contractors RAMS: Review all RAMs and approve or reject Deliveries: Oversee deliveries and collection of materials, vehicles, skips and machinery CDM Management: Update project planner with progress reports, coordinate daily works, daily audits Site Inductions: Delivery of all site inductions General site maintenance: Vehicle checks, responsible for chemicals and flammables Tool box talks Incident/accidents investigations Essential requirements: IOSH Managing ..... full job details .....
