Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - Data Centre ProjectLocation: London (site-based) Reporting To: Commercial Manager/Project Director Employment Type: Full-timeRole OverviewThe Project Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all commercial and contractual aspects of a large-scale data centre project. Working for the general contractor, the PQS will ensure effective cost control, risk management, and value delivery throughout the project life cycle, from procurement through to final account.This role is critical in ensuring financial performance, contractual compliance, and successful project delivery within a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial ManagementManage the commercial performance of the project, ensuring delivery within budget and margin targetsOversee cost planning, forecasting, and reportingIdentify, manage, and mitigate commercial risks and opportunitiesProcurement andamp; Subcontract ManagementLead procurement of subcontract packages, including tendering, analysis, and award recommendationsDraft, negotiate, and administer subcontract agreementsManage subcontractor performance, payments, and variationsCost Control andamp; ReportingPrepare and present monthly cost reports, CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliation), and forecastsMonitor project cash flow and financial performanceTrack and manage changes, variations, and compensation eventsContract AdministrationAdminister contracts in line with project conditions (eg, JCT, NEC, or ..... full job details .....
