Our specialist in-house traffic management division provides expert advice and support across the industry, whilst assisting with our own, in-house contracts.About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our ICP and EV team at VolkerHighways in Hoddesdon. This role is key to ensuring commercial success on our projects by managing costs, maximising recovery, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and the supply chain. Key Responsibility Act as the primary commercial contact on site, advising project teams on contractual and financial matters. Ensure accurate cost and value reporting, monitor WIP, and identify risks with mitigation strategies. Procure and manage subcontractors, including tender analysis, rate negotiations, issuing instructions, and resolving disputes. Process subcontractor payments with supporting documentation and maintain compliance with conditions and key documents.Measure works on site, maintain records, enter data into systems, and manage variations, quotations, and income agreements.
