Project Quantity Surveyor

Our client is one of the largest Tier 1 contractors in the UK, offering market leading opporutntiies for talented professionals looking for long term career progression. Due to an increase in upocming projects, there is now a need for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. The Project Quantity Surveyor will be working across a newly redeveloped science and technology hub within the Harlow Enterprise Zone in Essex, a strategic location in the London-Stansted-Cambridge corridor. The campus will comprise of four state-of-the-art data centres each split into four halls and designed over three floors, totalling around 150,000 sq ft. nett technical space. The Project Quantity Surveyor, will be responsible for: Leading financial forecasting, valuations, and contract administration. Managing contract performance, risk mitigation, and compliance. Managing sub-contractor supply chain and Sub-contractor applications. Dealing with variations. Interim payments. Overseeing supply chain and subcontractor engagement from enquiry to completion. Supporting estimating and tendering processes with robust cost analysis. Ensuring accurate reporting and financial close-out of additional works. Maintaining excellent client relationships and contribute to contract retention.
