Project Quantity Surveyor

We are working on behalf of a leading national infrastructure contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering major civil engineering and rail infrastructure projects across the UK. Due to continued growth and the successful award of multiple long-term framework agreements, our client is looking to strengthen its commercial team with the appointment of a Project Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of off-track rail infrastructure and civil engineering projects throughout South Wales. Reporting into the Senior Commercial team, you will play a key role in the commercial management of a portfolio of NEC projects typically valued between 5 million and 15 million, taking responsibility for the commercial and contractual management of schemes from procurement through to final account. Your responsibilities will include: Managing the commercial delivery of multiple civil engineering and rail infrastructure projects throughout the project lifecycle. Administering NEC contracts, including compensation events, early warnings and contractual notices. Preparing cost reports, forecasts, applications for payment, valuations and monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs).
