Approach Personnel are proud to be partnered-with a leading commercial refurbs/fit out-contractor, who are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor, to join them on a permanent basis out of their office in Derby.-As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the commercial success of our projects, ensuring all of our planned refurbishment projects are completed on time and in budget.

What are we looking for?

• A proven Quantity Surveyor who has-experience,-ideally within the commercial refurbishment/fit out or construction sectors.
• A degree in Quantity Surveying, or currently completing one
• A strong understanding of cost management and sub-contractor procurement.
• Full UK''s driving license

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with cost planning and cost reporting across multiple projects.
• Tracking actual costs against budgets and forecasts.
• Monitoring project spend and highlighting risks early to appropriate individuals
• Assisting with subcontractor valuations and payments
