About the role of Project Quantity SurveyorAs Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be joining the commercial team of a Tier 1 Main Contractor in the UK. They are looking to strengthen their commercial team due to a strong project pipeline. You will get the opportunity to take a commercial lead position on projects valued 5m+. This leading construction contractor operates across commercial, education, defence, and infrastructure schemes with over 100 years of experience in the construction industry.Their London operations focus on major commercial and mixed-use developments, industrial and logistic developments, life science and research facilities, film studios, defence and secure government facilities. You will be reporting into the Managing Quantity Surveyor.Key Responsibilities of Project Quantity SurveyorInclude but not limited to:Take full commercial responsibility for projects valued 5m and aboveEstablish project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecastsPrepare subcontractor tender packagesIdentify contractual risksManage applications for paymentsPrepare and submit variation quotationsPrepare monthly CVRsPrepare, negotiate and agree the main contract final accountAttend project progress meetingsKey Requirements of Project Quantity SurveyorDegree educated in a construction related subjectLive within commutable distance and willing to travel in LondonExperience commercially leading projects valued 5m+ at a main contractorWhat''s on offer:Competitive salaryCar ..... full job details .....
