About the role of Project Quantity Surveyor

As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be joining a Tier 1 Main Contractor who operate across Europe with a London office based in the City. They deliver major building, infrastructure, rail, highways and commercial developments with a turnover of over -1bn.

You will be supporting the commercial team on -200m+ commercial scheme which will provide 200,000 + sq ft. of office space across 23 storeys in City of London, where you will be based. It will also include a CAT A fit out as well as a refurbishment of a Grade II listed building. You will be reporting into the Senior Commercial Manager.

Key Responsibilities of Project Quantity Surveyor

Include but not limited to;

• Supporting package procurement and cost control
• Ensuring financial performance of work packages is accurately reported and effectively managed
• Helping to identify, mitigate and resolve commercial issues
• Oversee subcontract obligations
• Carry out all duties in line with company policies

Key Requirements of Project Quantity Surveyor

• Live within commutable distance to City of London
• JCT contract experience
• Degree qualified in a construction related subject
• Experience working on -50m+ projects ideally in the commercial sector
• Experience managing subcontractor packages valued up to -10m
