Project Quantity Surveyor

A major multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their London cost management team. The successful Project Quantity Surveyor will work across local government, social housing and commercial projects, supporting clients through both capital works and wider property programmes.The Project Quantity Surveyor will manage projects from early feasibility and cost planning through procurement, construction and final account. Working alongside experienced consultants and directly with clients, the Project Quantity Surveyor will provide practical cost and commercial advice throughout each stage of delivery.This role would suit a Project Quantity Surveyor with solid UK consultancy experience who is ready to take greater ownership of their workload. The Project Quantity Surveyor will gain strong exposure to public-sector and commercial clients while working within a large multidisciplinary environment.Project Quantity Surveyor - Key Responsibilities:Preparing cost plans, estimates and project budgetsManaging tender documentation and procurement exercisesReviewing contractor submissions and producing tender reportsManaging interim valuations, variations and change controlPreparing and agreeing final accountsProviding cost and commercial advice to local authority and housing clientsProducing regular financial reports and forecastsAttending client, consultant and site meetingsWorking alongside wider project management and technical ..... full job details .....
