Project Quantity SurveyorEdinburgh£60,000 £70,000 + car or car allowance + excellent overall benefits packageARC Group are working with a major international main contractor to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor to a substantial building project in Edinburgh.This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to take greater ownership of their own work, increase the scale of packages they commercially manage and build towards Senior Quantity Surveyor level.With significant procurement and delivery still ahead, you will have the opportunity to manage subcontract packages through the full commercial lifecycle, from initial procurement and appointment through delivery, change management and ultimately final account.The opportunity Working as part of an experienced project commercial team, you will be given genuine responsibility for allocated subcontract packages rather than operating purely in a supporting capacity.The position offers: Ownership of significant subcontract packages Strong procurement exposure Experience across the complete commercial lifecycle Broader involvement in forecasting, risk and change management Exposure to a substantial and technically challenging building project Close working with experienced Senior QS and Commercial Manager-level professionals Opportunity to increase both the scale and complexity of your commercial responsibility A clear progression route towards Senior Quantity Surveyor level Long-term opportunity within a ..... full job details .....
