Project Quality Engineer - Mechanical

Project Quality Engineer (Contract) - AWE MENSA, Burghfield

We are seeking two Project Quality Engineers (one electrically biased, one mechanically biased) to join our team on a 12-month initial contract at the AWE MENSA Burghfield site.

Role Overview
As a Project Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting construction and QC activities, ensuring compliance with procedures, liaising with clients, and driving quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Support QC activities and ensure timely documentation for sign-off and BV activities

• Compile LTRs, Orbit check sheets & ITPs, keeping them up to date

• Liaise with clients, BV, and internal teams on quality matters

• Assist with NCRs, concessions, and support closure of findings

• Carry out and support site audits and client audits

• Provide weekly quality updates and ensure compliance with company procedures

• Support the Construction Manager and Quality Lead in project delivery

• Rate: -57 per hour (Outside IR35)

• Duration: 12 months (initial)

• Location: Full-time, site-based at AWE MENSA Burghfield

• Clearance: Current SC Clearance (minimum) required

• Start Date: ASAP
