Skilled Careers are recruiting a Project Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a leading Main Tier social housing contractor working on a large planned maintenance social housing contract throughout the West Midlands. The Role: Managing the commercial aspects of social housing and new build domestic projects from pre-contract through to final account, ensuring costs are controlled and value is protected throughout. Key Responsibilities: - Preparing cost estimates, budgets and valuations across social housing planned contracts - Managing subcontractor accounts, variations and final accounts - Monitoring project costs against budget and reporting to senior management - Liaising with local authority client on commercial matters - Supporting procurement and contract administration What We''re Looking For: - Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent) preferred - Proven PQS experience within social housing or residential construction - Strong commercial and negotiation skills - Own transport essential - Willing to work from the Birmingham office, with the option of Hybrid What''s on Offer: - Fantastic Day Rate including any site mileage and 4 days hybrid - A genuine opportunity to grow within a main tier business and option to go temo-perm ..... full job details .....
