Our client, a distinguished consultancy in the rail sector, is currently seeking a Planner with significant experience in rail projects to join their team on a contract basis.The successful candidate will see you work on a major rail infrastructure programme being delivered from Leeds. Key Responsibilities:Developing and maintaining detailed project schedulesCoordinating with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project timelinesConducting periodic programme reviews and schedule maintenanceIntegrating risk management strategies into project plansGenerating and presenting project reports to stakeholdersEnsuring that the project adheres to all contractual requirements and goalsUsing software planning tools to create and manage project schedulesSupporting the integration of multiple contractor submissions into the overall scheduleJob Requirements:Experience in major rail projectsKnowledge of NEC4 schedule contractual requirementsProficiency in using basic and advanced IT systemsUnderstanding of project/programme planning and scheduling tools, including P6 Excellent communication skills across all organisational levelsAbility to assess planning requirements and make pragmatic decisionsStrong team leadership and motivational skillsExperience in working with engineering, construction, and access disciplinesGraduate level with strategic thinking capabilities Desirable Skills: Excellent presentation skillsWillingness to travel and stay away from home when requiredGood communication ..... full job details .....
