Location: Oxford
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: 12-Month Temporary
Working: Full-time, on-site

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering organisation for an experienced Project Planner to join their PMO team on a 12-month temporary contract.

The role will be responsible for creating and managing project plans, integrating them into master schedules and monitoring progress, resources and costs across complex engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed, resourced project plans
• Monitor progress against schedules and develop recovery plans where required
• Provide accurate project reporting, including KPIs
• Support Project Managers with planning, risk, change and cost control
• Facilitate planning meetings and project workshops
• Manage resource allocation and capacity planning
• Develop and improve project planning processes, methods and tools

About You

• Strong project planning experience within an engineering environment
• Expert knowledge of Primavera P6
• Experience with Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid methodologies
• Strong understanding of Gantt charts and Critical Path Analysis
• Experience with resource and capacity planning
• Knowledge of project lifecycle and formal stage-gate reviews
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
• Project Management qualification such as APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent experience
• Full UK driving licence
