Project Planner - Fit Out
About the Role We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Project Planner. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting of construction projects, ensuring delivery programmes are realistic, achievable, and aligned with project objectives. Working closely with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and clients, you will develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project, providing accurate programme analysis and progress reporting throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction programmes using Microsoft Project. Create baseline schedules and monitor progress against planned activities. Identify critical path activities, programme risks, and opportunities. Produce short-term and long-term project schedules and look-ahead programmes. Liaise with project managers, site managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to gather progress information. Prepare programme reports, progress updates, and recovery plans where required. Monitor project milestones and key deliverables to ensure deadlines are met. Support tender planning and pre-construction programming activities. Analyse delays and recommend corrective actions to minimise project impact. Assist with resource planning and coordination across multiple projects.
