Project Planner
Shape the success of major infrastructure projects with your planning expertise.Our Client has a requirement for a Project Planner, who will be required to work on a Contract or Permanent basis in Derby or Newcastle.Role Purpose: Support project delivery as part of a growing infrastructure portfolioAct as the local planning lead, working closely with Project Managers and PMO teamsProvide planning support across multiple projects from inception through deliveryCoordinate project schedules, resources and stakeholder reporting activities Job Role Responsibilities: Produce and manage project schedules for internal and external stakeholdersCoordinate work packages, track progress against schedules and support resource planningCoordinate and manage subcontractor planning activitiesReview and approve subcontractor programmesInterface with stakeholders to identify and report on progress, changes, risks and opportunitiesSupport proposal development through manhour estimating and planning inputProduce concise and accurate project reporting, including critical path analysis and key project metrics Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications: Primavera P6 proficiency to intermediate level (essential)Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Microsoft ProjectSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlinesStrong communication skills with the ability to provide clear and concise project updatesAbility to engage confidently with subcontractors and ..... full job details .....
