Project Operations Engineer

We’re looking for a motivated Project Engineer to manage projects from planning through to on-site delivery. This role combines office-based project coordination with hands-on site responsibilities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to technical and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate site operations, inspections, and commissioning activities.

  • Manage subcontractors, resources, and equipment delivery.

  • Interpret and communicate mechanical and electrical drawings.

  • Prepare and maintain site documentation including RAMS and inspection records.

  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues.

  • Monitor project schedules, progress, and status reporting.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulations.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven project engineering or site management experience.

  • Strong planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office and MS Project.

  • Knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, fabrication, and commissioning.

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and client management skills.

  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors and project schedules.

Desirable:

  • Offshore, industrial, or renewable energy project experience.

  • Familiarity with ATEX, LOLER, PUWER, or CDM compliance.

  • Hands-on installation, commissioning, or validation experience.
