This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of the Local Plan and support key planning policy projects within a dynamic local authority environment.The RoleYou will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of the Local Plan and other spatial planning projects. This includes ensuring projects are delivered on time, to a high standard, and within budget, in line with the Local Plan Programme.Key responsibilities include:Supporting the production and review of the Local Plan and related policy documentsManaging and coordinating project activities, including research and consultation processesAssisting with the preparation and presentation of Main Modifications for submission to Planning InspectorsCoordinating documentation for the Examination in Public, including maintaining the Examination library and webpageProviding support for additional hearing sessionsHandling public enquiries, including sensitive or complex casesSupporting fee-earning spatial planning projects for the CouncilKey Skills and ExperienceBasic project management experienceAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel ..... full job details .....
