The post holder will support the Project Delivery Manager with delegated responsibility for Capital Projects.The post holder will develop and maintain good relationships and clear lines of communication with Estate colleagues, Clinicians, Directorate Managers, Senior Managers, together with any appointed Consultants and Contractors in connection with any project work.Main duties of the job

Responsible for the management of delegated Capital Projects and the appointment and management of contract staff employed in delivering capital projects and ensuring they comply with Trust policies and procedures (e.g. HandS, HR, GDPR etc.).Responsibility for the following budgets.Non-Staff Expenditure - Capital Project Budgets up to the value of £5MKey Tasks and Responsibilities:Capital Project Delivery ManagementStakeholder Engagement and CommunicationProduce, manage and maintain all relevant Project DocumentationAbout us

Education and Qualification

Educated to Degree level in a Construction or Property Discipline or comparable demonstrable experience.Evidence of Continuous Professional DevelopmentWorking towards chartered status (MCIOB, MRICS, MCIBSE, M.Arb etc.)Formal Project Management QualificationExperience and Knowledge

Successful track record of working in Property Investment and ImprovementKnowledge in managing clients, contractors and consultantsExperience of delivering value for money / efficiency related changesThe ability to demonstrate knowledge across the Estates and Facilities PortfolioExperience/knowledge of working in a health service environment.Experience of leading a team of professionalsSuccessful track record of working in high performing teams, delivering challenging targets and achieving results.Skills and Abilities
