Based in one of our hub offices which are located across the UK, with flexible hybrid working, you''ll have the chance to lead transformative projects across the country. Ready to push the limits of what''s possible?Here''s what we''re looking for:Experience of working within a client organisation, either directly or through a co-location/secondment arrangement.Practitioner of NEC suite of contracts, particularly the Professional Services Contract (PSC) and Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC)Experience of working as part of integrated, multi-organisation, collaborative teamsInfrastructure and project management experience, delivering complex projectsExcellent communication and organisational skillsHighly motivated with an excellent industry networkRelationship-building skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, teams, and stakeholdersAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionA team player with a can-do attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexibleExperience of working with NGET business processes, supplier requirements, and national development process 500Experience of working on projects in Substations, Over Head Lines, and Cables 33kV - 400kV with DNO or TOUnderstanding of the UK Transmission and Distribution System along with associated plan and equipmentGood understanding of CDM regulationsProject Management Proficiency: familiarity with planning, scheduling, communication, teamwork, resource management, and risk managementEngagement in continuous professional development, including pursuing qualifications such as those offered by the Association for Project Management (APM) or other recognised bodiesStakeholder Engagement: ability to effectively communicate with internal teams, contractors, and the publicTechnical Knowledge related to electricity transmission and distributionSafety and Compliance: commitment to health, safety and environmental standardsFinancial Acumen: skills in budget management and financial oversightLeadership and Team Development: ability to lead project teams and support professional growthAdaptability and Problem-SolvingStrategic Thinking: understanding of broader strategic goals in energy transmission and distributionMinimum QualificationsMinimum of two years'' project management experienceA project management qualification such as PRINCE2 or APMA relevant degree (engineering, environmental science, construction, or relevant subject)Strong history in both NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4) and project managementMember of a related professional body, preferably charteredIf you''re passionate about innovation and turning bold ideas into reality, AECOM welcomes you.
