Project Manager/Project Controls Manager

Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a multiple Project Managers/Project Control Managers on a permanent basis in Glasgow. (Hybrid working will be supported).We are looking for a Senior Project Manager or Project Controls Manager, supporting our clients to deliver a range of construction infrastructure projects and programmes across the North of the UK spanning from the Midlands, Cumbria, North East to Scotland with additional opportunities to work on projects across the rest of the UK. The team is based in Glasgow; however, we have team members based all over the North of the UK such as Nottingham, Leeds, Barrow, and Manchester. Owing to the complex nature of the projects we are involved in, this role will suit Project Managers from a Defence, Nuclear, Infrastructure or Construction background with proven experience, understanding and adherence to process and governance. NEC accreditation and proficiency in managing these types of contracts would be advantageous. This will be a consultancy-based role, working in a client-focused environment - where we are measured on working closely with clients, while taking personal responsibility in dealing with clients and striving to go above their expectations. We anticipate you being on client sites or based in our offices 60% of your time which could include travel, but this may flex depending on client and business requirements.
