This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in improving educational facilities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget. The Role:As a Project Manager - Technical, you will manage a portfolio of capital and facilities projects across schools and other community assets. You will provide expert technical advice on property, construction, maintenance, and compliance matters while acting as the key link between schools, contractors, and the Council''s Capital Projects Team. Key responsibilities include: Managing capital works and planned maintenance projects across the school estate. Investigating building defects and developing repair and maintenance strategies. Providing technical advice on construction design and legislative compliance. Monitoring contractor performance to ensure works are delivered to specification, programme, and budget. Acting as the primary interface between schools and the Capital Projects Team. Liaising with Head Teachers, Governors, contractors, and external agencies. ..... full job details .....
