Project Manager

Location: Hinkley Point C, Somerset
Contract: Freelance / Contract
Working Pattern: Site-based, 5 days per week

Sphere Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a specialist construction contractor delivering projects within a highly regulated environment at Hinkley Point C.

The company has experience delivering design and build, commercial construction, fit-out and refurbishment projects, including specialist facilities and site accommodation within the nuclear sector.

The Role

You will oversee projects through both the design and construction stages, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme, budget and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from design development through to construction and handover.

• Coordinate design teams, consultants, subcontractors and site personnel.

• Manage design development in accordance with RIBA Plan of Work stages.

• Monitor project programmes, budgets, risks and progress.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards and site procedures.

• Manage stakeholder communication and resolve design and construction issues.

• Administer and manage contracts using NEC3.

• Use Microsoft Teams to coordinate meetings, communications and project documentation.

• Maintain accurate project records and provide regular progress reports.

Requirements

• Proven Project Management experience within a main contractor construction environment.

• Strong understanding of both design management and construction delivery.

• Experience managing design stages in line with RIBA.

• Essential: NEC3 contract experience.

• Competent in Microsoft Teams.

• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

• Ability to work on site at Hinkley Point C five days per week.
