  • Coordinate the collection and management of relevant technical information, product approvals and completion documentation.
  • Plan and coordinate works within an operational shopping centre, minimising disruption to retailers, visitors and centre operations.
  • Work closely with the client's management team, centre management, tenants and other stakeholders to agree access arrangements, working hours, logistics and phasing.
  • Manage site logistics, deliveries, material storage, access equipment and segregation of construction activities
  • Ensure temporary works, protection measures and site security arrangements are effectively managed.

Commercial and Financial Management

  • Take responsibility for monitoring project costs, budgets and financial performance.
  • Work closely with the commercial team to manage variations, change control, valuations and subcontractor accounts.
  • Identify commercial risks and opportunities, ensuring these are addressed promptly.
  • Monitor procurement schedules, material lead times and subcontractor performance.
  • Provide regular and accurate progress reports, cost forecasts and programme updates to senior management and the client.

Leadership and Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and coordinate the project team, including site management, engineers, subcontractors and specialist trades.
  • Chair project progress meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with the client, consultants and supply chain.
  • Drive accountability, quality and performance across the project team.
  • Manage snagging, defects resolution and the successful completion and handover of the works.

  • Knowledge of fire safety remediation and the associated technical and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing projects involving specialist facade systems, access equipment, temporary works and complex logistics.
  • Relevant construction qualifications, such as an HNC, HND or degree in Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • SMSTS, CSCS and relevant health and safety qualifications.
