Job Title: Project Manager Location: Bishops Stortford Day rate: £300 - £320 depending on experience Start Date: September 2026 About the Role We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a major Design and Build project involving the construction of a multi-storey steel frame car park. This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing the project from pre-construction through to turnkey completion, ensuring delivery is safe, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Take full responsibility for the planning, coordination, and delivery of the project from inception to turnkey handover. Develop, maintain, and manage the master project programme, ensuring key milestones are achieved. Lead and coordinate the design process, managing consultants and ensuring design information is issued in line with the construction programme. Manage all phases of construction, including: Groundworks and foundations Steel frame erection External envelope and associated works Internal fit-out Testing, commissioning, and final handover Oversee the commercial aspects of the project alongside the commercial team, including procurement, cost control, change management, and risk management.
