Senior Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to join a leading residential construction company renowned for delivering high-quality homes and large-scale residential developments. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to lead prestigious projects from planning through to completion while managing high-performing teams and maintaining exceptional construction standards.

The successful candidate will play a key leadership role within the business, overseeing multiple residential projects, ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage residential construction projects from pre-construction through to handover
  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and delivery
  • Manage site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
  • Ensure all works are completed in accordance with health & safety regulations and company standards
  • Monitor project performance, identifying risks and implementing solutions proactively
  • Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle
  • Prepare and present regular project reports to senior leadership
  • Drive programme efficiency, quality assurance, and commercial performance
  • Mentor and support Project Managers and site teams across the business
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within residential construction
  • Strong background delivering high-value housing or residential developments
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, regulations, and health & safety requirements
  • Relevant construction qualifications preferred (Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar)
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications desirable
