Project Manager
We are working with a well-established and forward-thinking power and infrastructure contractor to assist them in hiring a Project Manager for their growing team.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a business delivering critical power and energy infrastructure projects throughout Scotland. You will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role offers the chance to work on a varied portfolio of projects while progressing your career with a contractor experiencing continued growth.
As the Project Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Managing the full lifecycle of power and civil engineering projects from pre-construction through to completion.
* Leading multidisciplinary project teams to ensure the safe, efficient, and successful delivery of works.
* Managing project programmes, budgets, resources, and commercial performance to achieve project objectives.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
* Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality management systems.
* Identifying project risks and opportunities while providing regular progress reports to senior management.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering power, utilities, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects.
* Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and workstreams.
* A sound understanding of NEC contracts, project planning, commercial awareness, and programme management.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
* A relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. SMSTS and CSCS certification are essential, with experience working on power or utility infrastructure projects being highly desirable.
