Project Manager - Specialist Engineering Projects Location: Blackbushe, UK Department: Projects Reports To: Programme Manager Contract Type: Permanent Office Attendance:Initially 5 days per week (first few months).Flexible thereafter depending on project workload.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of custom engineering projects in the maritime and marine sector. The role requires a strong engineering mindset, combined with proven project management expertise. Candidates with a background in mechanical design, programme management, are highly desirable. Ability to obtain security clearance is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesProject DeliveryDeliver projects on time, within budget, and to specification.Ensure projects are properly planned, resourced, and executed.Assist with Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) cost estimations.Monitor costs against project plans and escalate deviations.Create, maintain, and communicate detailed project plans including milestones and deliverables.Project Planning and DocumentationDevelop comprehensive project specifications and system designs.Develop functional, environmental, and production test procedures.Prepare and manage project documentation including manuals, manufacturing record books, interface specifications, handling and storage procedures, and test/inspection plans.Risk and GovernanceIdentify, document, assess, and mitigate project risks.Escalate significant risks to senior ..... full job details .....
