Engineering Project Manager - MaritimeLocation: Hampshire Department: Projects Reports To: Programme Manager Contract Type: PermanentOffice Attendance Initially 5 days per week during on-boarding, with flexibility thereafter depending on project requirements.Important Note This role requires a strong engineering background and is not suitable for IT-only Project Managers.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex engineering projects within the maritime sector. This role is ideally suited to candidates who have progressed from an engineering discipline into project management and can confidently engage with customers and technical teams.We are particularly interested in candidates with experience delivering technically complex systems and products, ideally involving systems engineering, electronics, sensing technologies, instrumentation, systems integration, or multidisciplinary engineering environments.Experience within defence, maritime or other highly regulated industries would be highly advantageous.Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesProject DeliveryDeliver projects on time, within budget and to specificationEnsure projects are properly planned, resourced and executedAssist with Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) cost estimationsMonitor project costs and escalate deviations where appropriateCreate, maintain and communicate detailed project plans, milestones and ..... full job details .....
