Job Title: Project Manager (Interior Fit-Out)

Salary: -65,000 + Package (Car Allowance, Bonus, Pension)

About the Company
We are a well-established and growing contractor specialising in high-quality interior fit-out and refurbishment projects across the commercial, retail, and leisure sectors. Due to continued success and a strong pipeline of work, we are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join our Birmingham team.

The Role
As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of interior fit-out projects from pre-construction through to completion. You will manage multiple stakeholders, lead project teams, and ensure schemes are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage interior fit-out projects from inception to handover
• Lead site teams including Site Managers, Supervisors, and subcontractors
• Develop and manage project programmes, ensuring key milestones are met
• Monitor budgets, costs, and overall project financial performance
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and company procedures
• Chair progress meetings and provide regular updates to clients and senior management
• Coordinate design, procurement, and delivery phases of projects
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve any issues efficiently

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within interior fit-out or refurbishment
• Strong track record of delivering commercial, retail, or leisure fit-out projects
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong commercial awareness and cost management experience
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card), and relevant construction qualifications
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable

• Experience working for a main contractor or specialist fit-out contractor
• Relevant degree or HNC/HND in Construction Management or similar
• Knowledge of modern construction and fit-out techniques
