My client are a civil engineering business with over 20 years experience in the civil engineering market. They are looking to onboard a project manager to help deliver a project in the Manchester area for a 13.8 billion framework. Project manager responsibilities: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure delivery aligns with the business objectives. Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets, ensuring costs are tracked accurately and any variances are reported and managed promptly. Coordinate communication between contractors, consultants, local authorities, and other stakeholders to maintain alignment and resolve issues efficiently. Ensure all project activities comply SHE standards, CDM regulations, and environmental legislation. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, maintaining a live risk register and implementing control measures to minimize potential impacts on project delivery. Oversee the implementation of quality management plans, ensuring works meet specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
