Project ManagerIpswichNegotiable PAYE Umbrella day rate depending on experience.A well-established Civil Engineering Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team on a contract basis on a project in Ipswich.With a strong order book of secured infrastructure and environmental improvement projects across the South West, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business that offers long-term career stability, a supportive management structure and the chance to lead schemes that make a real impact within local communities.The RoleReporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple civil engineering projects from pre-construction through to completion.Key responsibilities will include: Managing projects safely, on programme and within budgetLeading Site Agents, Engineers, Supervisors and subcontractorsDeveloping and maintaining project programmesManaging client relationships and attending progress meetingsOverseeing quality assurance, ITPs and project documentationMonitoring project performance, risks and opportunitiesWorking closely with commercial teams to ensure effective cost controlCoordinating design, temporary works and construction activitiesEnsuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards Requirements Previous experience as a Project Manager within civil engineeringStrong background delivering infrastructure, flood alleviation, earthworks, drainage, highways or ..... full job details .....
