A Project Manager is sought by RGB to lead civils and groundworks schemes across Exeter and the wider South West. This permanent role offers a salary between £50,000 and £62,000 per annum, plus a competitive package. You will take full ownership of projects from mobilisation to final handover, coordinating site teams, subcontractors, plant, and materials. Programme management, client liaison, and strict adherence to health and safety and quality standards are central duties. The position suits a seasoned professional comfortable with on-the-ground leadership and client relationship building. A strong regional workload ensures long-term stability. Your background must demonstrate significant experience in civils and groundworks delivery.

I''m looking to speak with experienced Project Managers from a civils and groundworks background for a new opportunity in the South West.
This is a long-term position with a strong regional workload and would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects, managing teams on the ground and building strong relationships with clients.
You''ll be involved in:
- Managing projects from mobilisation through to completion
- Coordinating site teams, labour and subcontractors
- Programme and resource management
- Health and Safety and quality
- Plant and materials
- Client liaison and progress meetings
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme
You''ll ideally have a strong background in groundworks, civils or infrastructure, with experience at Project Manager / Contracts Manager level and the ability to manage both people and delivery.
The role will involve travel across the South West, so good knowledge of the region would be beneficial.
There is flexibility to consider either a permanent appointment or temp-to-perm, depending on your current circumstances.
