Project Manager - Office BasedLocation: Manchester / North West, United KingdomSalary: £40,000 + phone and expensesUp Front Recruitment are working with a leading retail design and manufacturing company, established in 1907 and still delivering innovative solutions to some of the UK''s biggest high street retailers. We are looking for an Office Based Project Manager to join them in Manchester.This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to build their career in the retail design industry, working with a business that has supplied award-winning store equipment and modular retail solutions for over 30 years. Initially, you will spend two months shadowing an experienced person in this position. You will report directly to the Contracts Manager, working alongside a supportive team of three senior managers.Responsibilities

Managing projects with contract values between £100K and £1MDealing directly with PLC retail clients on purchasing, installation, and delivery of shop equipmentOverseeing project execution and managing project timelinesCoordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholdersManaging budgets and ensuring value engineering at every stageScheduling and expediting project activitiesProviding regular updates to senior managementOccasional minimal travel to client sites as requiredInitially, two months shadowing an experienced person in this positionRequirements

Strong Project Management skills, with experience managing project timelines and budgetsKnowledge of expediting, inspections, and logistics managementExcellent organisational and multitasking abilitiesStrong communication and leadership skillsAbility to work full-time on-site in the Manchester areaDegree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or related discipline preferredPrevious experience within the retail design, fit-out, or related industry is desirableWhat’s on Offer
