Project Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing specialist engineering business delivering complex, bespoke projects across the UK and internationally.The organisation operates within the engineering, manufacturing and heavy plant sector, designing, manufacturing, installing and commissioning technically challenging systems for a global customer base. This is a hands-on role where you will take full ownership of projects from contract award through to installation, commissioning and final handover.You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, fabricators, installation and demolition teams, suppliers, subcontractors and clients, with responsibility for programme, budget, commercial performance, quality and site safety.The RoleAs Project Manager, you will:Take full ownership of projects from contract award through to commissioning and handover.Develop and manage detailed project programmes, monitoring milestones, critical paths and risks.Coordinate engineers, fabricators, site teams, suppliers, subcontractors and clients.Act as the primary client-facing contact throughout the project lifecycle.Chair progress meetings and provide regular project updates to senior management.Manage project documentation, meeting minutes, actions and change control.Establish site set-ups in accordance with CDM 2015 and relevant duty-holder responsibilities.Prepare and maintain Construction Phase Plans and ensure statutory documentation is ..... full job details .....
