Project Manager Contract: PermanentLocation: BirminghamSalary: Up to £60,000 per annum (+ car allowance, private medical and other benefits) Purpose of the Role The Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the project within the Alliance, in support of the Project Director. The role includes the coordination and facilitation of all processes to ensure minimal impact and disruption to existing operations throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager will have a strong background in commercial management across all aspects of the project, ensuring it is taken into tram operation safely, on time, and within budget. They will be responsible for resource planning and ensuring the appropriate level of resource is available to meet key project milestones. Key Areas of Responsibility and Accountability Lead multi-discipline teams, maintaining a "Best for Alliance" environmentDeliver key elements of the BEE Project safely and responsibly, meeting time, cost, and quality requirementsAgree timescales, costs, and resource requirementsDevelop detailed project plans for each stageSelect, manage, and lead the project teamDirect multi-disciplinary Construction and Rail teamsCommunicate effectively and professionally with staff at all levelsOversee multiple project sections simultaneouslyEnsure all project stages are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standardReport regularly on progress to the Project Director and stakeholdersResolve issues and ..... full job details .....
