Through school outreach (in school sport lessons), free holiday Camps (typically four 1-2 day camps per year), pathways into local sports clubs and providing free tickets to professional sports matches, we break down the social, cultural and financial barriers that keep girls out of sport - helping them build confidence, health, a lifelong love of the game, and experience all the long term benefits of sport. We have grown from a small, volunteer- and trustee-led charity into one ready for its first paid member of staff. This is a brand-new role, shaped by the people who have been doing this work by hand for the last two years - so there is real scope to build the systems and processes that will carry Raising Her Game through its next stage of growth.
