Project Manager

RSSB is recruiting a Project Manager to join us on a permanent basis, supporting the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects that make a real impact across the rail industry. Our Project Managers lead the design, development and delivery of projects with budgets ranging from £25k to £500k, ensuring objectives are met within agreed scope, time, cost and quality constraints. Based at our Fenchurch Avenue office, this role offers hybrid working, flexible core hours, and a commuting travel subsidy to support travel into our City of London office. The close date for this role is 25th January 2026. As a Project Manager at RSSB, you will take end-to-end ownership of projects, ensuring delivery in line with RSSB policies, processes and governance requirements. You will establish and lead effective project teams, working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders, and motivating others to contribute to project success. What you''ll do Project definition, planning and control: Define, agree, communicate and maintain clear project requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Develop, maintain and manage project schedules and resourcing plans using Microsoft Project Professional. Build and manage project budgets, including appropriate contingencies. Identify, assess and actively manage project risks, opportunities and issues, drawing on lessons learned. Apply RSSB quality management processes and standards.
