I''m recruiting on behalf of a leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy looking to strengthen its Manchester infrastructure team with an experienced Project Manager.

You''ll be working across rail and wider infrastructure projects, with exposure to major programmes and frameworks from delivery through to implementation. The role will suit someone who enjoys being at the heart of project delivery - working with clients, contractors, consultants and stakeholders to keep complex projects moving.

As Project Manager, you''ll support the successful delivery of rail and infrastructure projects, taking responsibility across programme, cost, risk, governance and stakeholder coordination.

Your role will include:

• Working across light rail, heavy rail and wider infrastructure projects.
• Supporting major projects and frameworks through delivery and implementation.
• Monitoring programme, cost, risk and overall project performance.
• Working within NEC3 and NEC4 contractual environments.
• Coordinating contractors, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Tracking project actions, milestones and deliverables.
• Supporting project governance, assurance and risk management processes.
• Producing clear project reporting and communicating progress to clients and stakeholders.
• Identifying potential issues or programme deviations and helping drive solutions.
• Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and project teams.

I''m keen to speak with Project Managers who already have experience within rail or major infrastructure and are looking for a position offering both interesting project work and long-term progression.

You''ll ideally have:

• Experience working on light rail, heavy rail or wider rail/infrastructure projects.
• Good working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts.
• Experience across project budgets, costs, risks and programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
• Experience working with contractors and consultants throughout project delivery.
• An understanding of CDM responsibilities from a client perspective.
• Strong reporting, communication and organisational skills.
• A relevant degree or professional qualification.

Experience gained within a construction consultancy or client-side environment would be particularly beneficial.
Those working towards professional accreditation such as MRICS, MCIOB or MAPM are also of interest.
