Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager - Pre-Construction to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality projects from inception through to site commencement.

The Role
Working closely with the commercial, design and operational teams, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are fully planned, coordinated and ready for successful delivery. You will support project development from the pre-construction phase through to mobilisation, ensuring all health, safety, quality and programme requirements are in place.

Key responsibilities include:
-Working closely with the Project Quantity Surveyor to support financial reporting and project forecasting.
-Developing and managing project programmes and construction methodologies.
-Ensuring all health & safety requirements, Construction Phase Plans and CDM obligations are in place prior to works commencing.
-Producing Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Safety Plans.
-Providing leadership, guidance and support to project teams.
-Managing labour resources and maintaining productivity targets.
-Coordinating the release of design information and materials.
-Managing subcontractors and supply chain partners effectively.
-Ensuring compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
-Driving quality throughout the project lifecycle and achieving snag-free handovers.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
-Degree qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline, or a strong trade background within construction.
-Proven leadership and management experience within the construction or housebuilding sector.
-Experience managing projects from inception through to completion.
-Strong understanding of health & safety legislation, CDM regulations and best practice.
-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
-The ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and deliver projects to programme, budget and quality standards.
