P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis based in Great Yarmouth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver engineering projects across the full project lifecycle, managing time, cost, scope, quality, resources, communications and risk.
- Liaise with customers, engineering, sales, operations and key stakeholders to develop and maintain detailed project plans.
- Prepare and manage project documentation to support successful installation and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams from pre-tender through to post-installation, ensuring project milestones and deliverables remain on schedule.
- Act as the primary customer interface throughout the project, attending meetings and presentations where required.
- Monitor project milestones, financial forecasts and invoicing schedules, providing accurate progress reports to the Senior Project Manager.
- Manage control and power supply topology designs, PLC and HMI programming activities, ensuring compliance with relevant national, international and IALA standards.
- Organise inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget while providing timely and accurate management information.
- Resolve technical, contractual and commercial issues as they arise throughout the project lifecycle.-
Person Specification:
- Previous experience managing engineering projects from conception through to completion.
- Proven experience in the design and installation of control systems.
- Strong commercial awareness with a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- High attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime during busy periods when required.
Desirable:
- Formal Project Management qualification or working towards one.
- Knowledge of the Oil & Gas and/or Maritime industries.
- Familiarity with ATEX/IEC protection concepts.
- Knowledge of DC/AC electrical systems.
Working Hours & Benefits:
