Job Title: Project ManagerClient: Global engineering/manufacturing companyLocation: PeterboroughHourly Rate: £30.96 PAYE or £40.72 Umbrella Duration: 12 monthsWorking arrangements: Fully site basedAbout the Role:You will be working across the Global Programme Management team supporting over 50 projects both internally and externally, consisting of project planning professionals and project managers.Responsibilities:Develop and produce program and/or project management schedules using Microsoft Project.Management and accountability for the portfolio of projectsMonitoring project progress and performanceRegular stakeholder reportingProven risk management experienceWork with partners, monitor progress, to ensure project delivered in a timely manner on budget.Attend business meetings with partnersResource management - Provide input for staffing and support of programs and create accurate and detailed resource-loaded project schedulesRequired Experience:A PM degree or 3-5 years of progressively related experience in the project management field.Proven experience with project management concepts, including project charters, scheduling and planning projects and successful completion experience.Provide leadership in the development and updates of program and project management schedules.Project resource loading/portfolio resource management and project/portfolio cost management experience is highly desirable.Prince 2/PMP or equivalent qualification is highly desired.
