Project Manager Highways DBFO Handback East London £293.49 £335/day PAYE Hybrid 2 days office/site Contract Long-term opportunityMorson Talent is recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation in the transport and infrastructure sector for an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful handback of a Design, Build, Finance and Operate (DBFO) highways project.This is a unique opportunity to oversee the strategic, technical, and operational aspects of a high-profile handback process, ensuring assets are transferred in optimal condition and in full compliance with contractual and industry standards. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning Develop and implement a robust handback strategy aligned with industry best practice and DBFO contract requirements. Build and manage a detailed programme including inspections, reporting, and key milestones. Define clear roles, responsibilities, and timelines with all stakeholders. Co-ordinate joint inspections and ensure outputs are clearly recorded. Oversee any outsourced work related to handback, from specification to delivery. Technical Oversight Lead collaboration across internal teams and contractors, including engineering, asset operations, and commercial. Manage the collection, validation, and review of condition surveys, asset data, and lifecycle assessments. Ensure compliance with technical standards such as MCHW and DMRB.
